George, a leadership coach has over 25 years of experience as a Learning Specialist in domains ranging from Manufacturing, Assessment Centers, Consulting and Information Technology. A chemistry graduate from Madras Christian College, he started his career with MRF Tyres. He then moved to various consulting organizations like Layam, Ma Foi and Paradigm Shift and partnered with various Organizations and Institutions to provide learning solutions.
George was with one of the group companies of CavinKare heading their training function. He then joined DORMA, a German architectural hardware company in the same role accountable for product and sales training. Later he moved to Infosys, as a Lead – Educator, where he was instrumental in building an innovative culture through Design thinking. After a six-year stint with Infosys, he decided to move to Servion Global Solutions a system integrator technology company as the Global Head of Learning and Development. He had a short stint at Hyundai Motor India Ltd. as Head of Human Resources Development a learning function in the People Strategy and Business Support (PSBS) unit.
Currently, George is heading the Learning and Development function of Sify, an Information Communication Technology (ICT) company.
His core expertise lies in Leadership Development, Coaching and Learning practices. He is endorsed by Dale Carnegie as a High Impact Presentation trainer and has undergone training in ‘Six Thinking Hats’ and ‘Train the Trainer’ by FORUM Australia. George is also a certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) practitioner.
His interests include reading, football, music and experimenting with open source technology.
